If you love History, then don't miss the Fort LeBoeuf History Campus, home of 3 Forts beginning with the French Fort in 1753. On the property that originally housed a French, British, and American Fort, now stands the Campus. The campus includes the Eagle Hotel, built in 1826, the Judson House, built 1810, the French and Indian Museum, and the 18th Century Garden. George Washington really did sleep in Waterford, before the Eagle Hotel was even built, in the French Fort in 1753.
Check out fortleboeufhistory.com for more details.
Kayaking, fishing, boating, and so much more awaits you on Waterford's various waterways, including French Creek, LeBoeuf Creek, and Lake Leboeuf.
